Trailzzzzzzzzz
Got loads of digging/shifting/packing/shaping done at the weekend. Reckon I put a good 6 hour session in on Saturday alone, although I am still aware that this is as nothing compared to a Sowerby digging binge.
The absolute worst job has been clearing the grass from the old jumps, especially on the flat bottom. That shit just doesn't want to move.
I've added a berm and a hip and a landing/speed jump thing right at the begining of the smaller section, so you have to ride down, hop up onto the landing, pump off it, then into a set of doubles, then a berm and then into the last two big ones. There's still work to be done, but it's coming along. The last big jump's looking like a pile of shit though. It's going to need some serious attention this week while the weather's still wet.
This week's big discovery: you sweat like hell and need to drink a shit load while building trails and barmen will give you funny looks if you go into a pub covered in mud and ask for a pint of tap water.
