Sorry we’ve not been able to update yesterday, we were too busy laughing our asses off at Mark Thatcher’s incarceration in a South african jail. I never really believed in karma till today. One great angle is the possible involvement of a ‘JH Archer’ who put up some of the dodgy dosh. As one wag put it: “Rest easy Jeffrey, Mark doesn’t look likethe sort of character who would sing under questioning now does he?” There’s lots of good stuff out there but I like this the best… Mark Thatcher has not been able to overthrow the Guinean government. Naturally, the relief at this belongs primarily to the Bioko people, but everyone in Britain can also be permitted an exhalation. Because a quick look at Thatcher fils and Bush fils is a disconcerting glance. • Both had parents who ran Western countries. o Margaret Thatcher overturned the British economy to make it a happy playground for big multinationals. o George H. W. Bush did the same, only more so, for the USA. • Both countries are major arms dealers with long-term oil interests across the globe. o Britain is the second biggest arms dealer, and it was Britain who occupied the Middle East in 1916 and carved it up for oil companies. o Whereas the US is -- of course -- Number One, and has been taking a more active interest in Arabian oil of late.
