"It's all about the People Man"
I just heard the news that Colin MacLeod, one of the main founders of The Gal Gael Trust died yesterday, of a heart attack. He was a funny, sussed and hugely inspiring guy.
Our sympathy and condolences go out to Gehan his wife, their three children and both their families and to everyone at Gal Gael.
Gal Gael was (is) an inspiring romantic vision of teaching traditional boat-building skills, uniting communities and celebrating culture. It was Colin's dream and representative of all that was possible in a future Scotland. This is a tragic loss, but the main tribute would be to see-through his vision and continue his dream.
