Jornada 27: Las Palmas vs Malaga
Malaga slumped to an embarrassing away defeat against lowly Las Palmas in Gran Canaria on Saturday 3 March 2007. Despite dominating the first half and coming close to scoring on several occasions, they only managed one goal, an own goal by Victor who put the ball past Pindado whilst trying to block a cross from Calleja.
Las Palmas came out strongly at the start of the second half and scored twice in the opening five minutes. Malaga could not get back into the game and now languish only one point off the drop zone. Desperate times indeed.
The next match is at home against Cuidad de Murcia, currently vying for promotion. Can Malaga improve and get the three points? Your Malaga CF Correspondent will be there.
